Large-scale unmanned rover "curiosity" of the U.S. National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) seems to challenge the landing to neighborhood of Martian equator crater in 8/6.
This "curiosity" seems to be equipped with by a spaceship to use in Mars exploration mission of NASA called Mars Science Laboratory.
"The curiosity" was named three years ago by the general open call for participants & Internet voting for the U.S. student. The author is 12-year-old Clara Ma going to the elementary school of Kansas in those days.
As for "the curiosity", 3m in length, the gross weight are 900 kg. Its power source seems to use atomic battery (RTG) using collapse heat of plutonium 238.
